Who would get in your Championship Team Of The Season - 2018/19

This pop up on my Youtube homepage and it's always interesting to see how other people see our players.

So before watching guess how many of our players get into his team?   

Based on the rules he set himself (games played) It's not a bad team

I liked his team. Although as an Ipswich fan he tried really hard not to include any Norwich players right until the very end !

Darren Randolph must be considerably better in all other games than he is when he plays against Villa. He's made utter clangers against us in both games this season.

To be fair, Che Adams is playing for a poor side and, despite that, has the same goals and one more assist than Tammy.

Mings, Elphick and Axel are all better centre halfs than James. Grealish is a far, far better player than Phillips and Adams is a decent player but not as good as Tammy. Dwight Gayle is also a better player than Adams. I would also have had Leeds' Peacock-Farrell in goal instead of Randolph.

FourFourTwo magazine have announced their top fifty Championship players. The top ten in order are -

10 Jack Grealish

So judging by that if we swapped Jack for Che Adams we would also have to pay Small Heath extra money on top!

Funny how all nearly all these polls and opinions are virtually always full of forwards or attacking midfielders. If we had Mings in from August and he his form was consistent then he would be a shoe-in. I personally would swap Wilson with Jarrod Bowen and possibly Norwood with Emiliano Buendía.

I would have Pontus Jansson instead of James and I reckon Grealish only made it because of the 3 month lay off otherwise he would top 3 this season.

Norwood's a fair shout but I don't know how Bowen isn't in that top 10.

Bowen was in thirteenth place on the list. I think he had a slow start to the season before hitting form more recently. Like Hull in general.
