Collection for Mind at Boro game this Saturday.

Evening all ! Sorry to interrupt the post Derby, pre Forest game discussions for a mo.  But just the briefest notice that as part of the partnership between the EFL and Mind the mental health charity: https://www.mind.org.uk/news-campaigns/campaigns/efl-partnership/  We'll be doing a collection at the Boro game on Saturday.
I'll post more detail when I have it but many of you will be wearing the Mind logo ( That there squiggle, gloriously displayed on Jack's back post the winner on Sunday !) If you have any of this season's replica shirts and as someone who's worked for Birmingham Mind for what will be 16 years come August, it's been great to see !

We support around 4,500 people a year with mental health issues in Brum and the bit I manage takes awareness training into workplaces reaching another 2,500 ish people a year currently.

It's getting easier to talk about Mental Health, but current research suggests on average we take a year to really let people around us know what we're feeling ( If we ever do !) And when officially recorded Suicides run at three times the rate of road traffic deaths, there's plenty still to do! Any financial support you can give on Saturday is very gratefully received!

P.S. Huge thanks to everyone whose bought and sold out the Villa version of the " On your side" campaign badges that were available on the national Mind website ! Stars the lot of ya!

I do volunteering at Mind Mike been doing it for three years I love doing it so rewarding to help people who are going through difficult times and seeing them getting better through our various services we provide.

I'll post amount when I know, but huge thanks to everyone who donated yesterday.  Particularly lovely asking all the kids whose parents sent them over with money for the bucket, what they thought the score would be - Got a couple of 8 - 0 predictions !
