I agree with others on here re the hatred for Jack. He's a Brummie lad, has never ever said anything detrimental about other clubs, kept his own counsel during the Spurs saga, gets on with the game, never acts the big I AM, I just don't understand it. A lad I sat next to at the Derby game said he had lots of mates at university who supports lots of different teams and can't understand why they all seem to hate Jack Grealish. Must be that he's class and gets fouled a lot - but surely that's not his fault, he's certainly no diver.

Sorry for Hutton with his injury but we look better without him.

Trillion trophy stadium... however much I try I can't help but smile every time I read that.  It's so unashamedly naff.
Not to mention inaccurate!

The main reason seems to be because he's very good and plays for us. It's very funny that as the threat of Gabby ends, now it's Jack beating them.

It does annoy me how Jack has a reputation as a diver amongst fans of other clubs, if they watched week in week out they'd see just how often he is hacked down. I'm amazed he isn't injured more often they way teams clatter him so often.

Every single ‘football fan’ , even the scum that attacked Jack today, would love him in their team.
The fact is they are jealous, I think it’s as simple as that. Some of them let their jealousy manifest itself by making a ****** out of them.

first time post on an actual game on this forum so be easy with me -lol

watched it on sky and has a neutral the first word i would describe it as was frantic , a typical derby game . obviously the numpty that went onto the pitch takes centre stage and hope he gets put down for a long time but I think you just edged it although they had a good shout for a penalty

was fearing the worse when i saw Taylor in the starting line up as the hordes on here gave me the general impression that he's been pants for you lot this year so was refreshing to see him play well going forward and looked solid defending .

Hopefully will be named in the Wale squad for our game against Slovakia in 2 weeks time

i guess most are on the razz celebrating tonight !

DC, when Monk was Swansea manager was he always in the Western Daily Mail saying they had to beat Cardiff every interview?!

Two spread page in the Times yesterday basically saying that's all he had to do in this job and he also referenced it in his post match interview.

No ambition to get promoted, just "beat da Villa." Which they don't do anyway.

My thoughts.  Rowett was generally ok, clearly didn't want to upset either club.
Disgraceful incident, complete moron but how the hell did he get that far?
Jack, Mings, McGinn, Hause were great.  Albert was pants.
Great substitutions, although Green really does need some work.
Did Steer actually have a proper save to make?  Agent Gardner, cheers mate.
Don't let this be another false dawn.

Should their keeper have done better with the goal?

Thank god for super jack! All the woodworm noses came out of their holes this week giving it the big I am. I know a few noses, decent fans but there is something sinister about their support that is like something that crawled out of the pits of Mordor. Hasn’t it been a while since we did the double over them as well? But of course it’s a moral victory to them. I imagine they are still in the square peg claiming we are never seen in brum and enjoying their moral victory and had they scored two goals etc. Twats

Still buzzing at the result but all my thoughts on the technicalities of the game have been made already.
I would add that Jack’s attacker was celebrated throughout the game by a good section of the crowd singing “one punch and he knocked him out”
A trivial point but it sums up the quality of the club we visited  today.
Water was £2, cheaper than anywhere else. It arrived at the counter in a paper cup which I took to my seat. Upon tasting it – it was tap water! Cheapskate club.

Should their keeper have done better with the goal?

Yes, although he looked to me like someone that operates the waltzers at Stechford Fair rather than a goalkeeper so you cant be too harsh.

What surprises me is that everyone is surprised. If you know them, live amongst them and listen to them then you know that this was inevitable.
If I was Dean I'd've took the players off the field, it's long overdue, the club should be disbanded .
