Why are Sky blurring out the attacker's face?

Presumably for legal reasons?

Really brave bloke who runs up from behind to throw a punch, I bet they are all proud of him.

I have every confidence we will win this in the second half, but we need SJM and Kodjia on ASAP. Also maybe Kienan later.

Still cannot believe that knuckle dragger and that they were actually cheering  him. Tossers!!!

I just don’t understand the lax reaction from the match officials.

Fucking disgusting shitehouse club, with shitehouse fans!

Watch the rerun of that incident. The vast majority of the visible fans were celebrating the attack!

Scum.

Why are Sky blurring out the attacker's face?

Because it could jeopardise his right to a fair trial. Laughably. But seriously, he could argue impossible to get a fair trial is his picture has been plastered everywhere. Blurring him out makes it easier to get a conviction.  Assuming he doesn't plead guilty, any jury could now plausibly have never seen him before.

Reading their club website earlier in the week they warned their fans not to throw anything on the pitch as they have had a warning from the F A and failure to comply with this could mean trouble. Pity they never warned them to not run on the pitch and attack the opposition

Yes i think they are intimidated by it, as I said they had to pull the players off.

Forget a fine. 6 point deduction and then the rest of the fans won’t be cheering. Plus 5 years for GBH

The ref should have taken the players off as soon as that happened.

Yep, Villa should be awarded the game and the scum should be relegated by default, this has to be viewed as one of the most serious offences that can occur at a sporting event, poor Jack didn't even see it coming ffs.

Yep and it could have been a lot worse which is the frightening thing.  What if he had connected properly with the punch and broken Jack's jaw or hit him in the eye?  As Lee Hendrie has just said in the studio, there is no way the game could have carried on.
