Both of them must be getting on a bit. I think it was Mel Machin who conceded the penalty in the League Cup Final in 1975.

He was a coach at Norwich for years including MON's spell as a Norwich player so he does has a link to MON. As does O'Hare who played with MON at Forest. O'Hare also has a league cup penalty history as he was the man brought down for Forest's penalty winner in the 1978 League Cup final replay at Old Trafford that John Robertson converted to beat Liverpool 1-0.
