Hourihane is going to start copping shit from the crowd, while he's not good enough that really isn't going to help.
Not like he doesn't deserve it - Shouldn't be on the pitch. Hopefully, 2 down forces Smith's hand and Hourihane makes way for Kodjia and they go old school 4-4-2

That miss by Tammy looks fucking massive now.

Even if he had scored, I would have no faith at all that the two Albion goals wouldn’t have still happened.

Absolutely not good enough.

Embarrassing, in fact.

he had to sort the defence in Jan and he hasn't. we've conceded a horrific amount of goals this season

Just got a message from a friend in Brazil (he is a semi pro footballer and manager) - translates to "What is wrong with the midfield? - like non-existing " - from a first game watching - well observed.

They've had 10 shots already.  Add to that the 24 that Brentford had on Wednesday, and any suggestion that the defence has been sorted is absolutely laughable.  Kalinic must have let more goals in in his first 12 games than any other Villa keeper in history.  Fucking awful player.

Well neither of the goals they did score would have happened. It's impressive to turn us going 1 up as we should have into nothing positive.

No tactical change, no change in the outcome, it's hardly a surprise is it?

Defence - not sorted
Midfield - not sorted.

Unforgivable, if the ****** gets the sack before the end of the season, that'll be why.

Ref has been a disgrace.
Albion are dirty bastards.
Great header for their goal.
The less said about the 2nd the better. Hourihane caught out. Lucky deflection.
Other than that, not much between the teams.
Tammy missing a sitter hasn't helped.
Not sure what Smith can do to change it around.

I'm totally sick of spineless chancers who don't do the basics..

Work hard, close down, compete, graft, control the bag of air, keep switched on,pass it with belief and have total collective spirit...

I reckon teams at every level apply those attributes...we have nearly none collectively and individually..

Yep, Kalinic is wholly unconvincing.
