I was given a copy of the 1956 FA Cup final Sports Argus. Man City 3 Blues 1. It's a wonderful read.

Dad has the programme tucked away somewhere. As a boy, I thought there was a wonderful symmetry in the two Birmingham clubs playing the two Manchester clubs in successive years in the FA Cup Final...and the correct result in both games.

I think they wanted €40 for it although I'm not too sure. I genuinely considered buying it for no other reason than it's part of my home town's heritage, I think the price put me off. One thing I couldn't understand was, they had it locked up in a display cabinet!

As no burglar has had a chance in 147 years to steal a Blues held FA Cup trophy, that only leaves their programmes to nick.
I remember John Wile with the blood soaked bandage on his head in Albion’s semi (Ipswich? 1978). And also remember Kenny Hibbitt diving against Spurs to win the dog heads a replay in their semi final in 1981.

You can guess which one.On a similar theme, I wonder if any Villa one week/Blues the next supporters still exist.
