I think this is where Dean Smith has got to be bold, No Adomah and his half arsed jogging down the wing, no bringing on Kodija for his end of game sulk and no fucking Hologram.

Anyone who thinks we'll win obviously didn't watch us last night. Our season is over and we played in that way. No urgency or desire and Albion will be a lot more up for it than us. Our players will be on the beach now.

Was it that different to how we always play against Brentford though?

Quick, incisive passing teams like them always make us look worse than we are.

Generally at home we don't lose many, wouldn't surprise me at all if we got at least a point from this.

I watched it last night and I think we are going to beat them.
If we can score 3 goals in 10 minutes to deny a team from going top of the league then we are capable of a similar scoring spree against the stripey filth at any time in the game.

I think we need to be bold in every game from now on. As it stands we are certainly not going to be relegated and we certainly aren't going to gain automatic promotion and even the play offs look unlikely at this point. So surely we are in the perfect position to just go for it in every game.

1-3, Rodrigues hat trick, one off his left hand, one off his right hand and one off his chopper.

Giving a whole new meaning to the term 'a perfect hat-trick'.

How long ago was it when we last played them? It seems like about three weeks to me.

I think the first criteria has to be players that are going to give it a go.
And if that means chucking some youngsters so be it.

Strange but true.

We win this and we're just 7 points off a team who've been established in the top 6 for ages. Amazed considering it seems we've won about 2 games in 5 months. Also probably shows what an opportunity we've missed as this level is much weaker than last season's edition.

Tough to call. Has Gayle actually been banned? If he is we have much more chance of getting a draw but fear a 1-2 defeat as they need the points more.

From their OS

Dwight Gayle has been suspended for two games by the Football Association after being found guilty of simulation in this week’s 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest.

The Club supports Dwight’s view that he was attempting to avoid anticipated challenges in the 89th-minute incident which led to a penalty award for Albion.

Although disappointed with the outcome, Albion have regrettably concluded any appeal would be fruitless.

The Baggies striker will now miss the next two games against Aston Villa and QPR in the Sky Bet Championship.

They've had their worst results of the season when he hasn't played so that's good news. It will be a much weaker forward line than what we faced away with Phillips out and Barnes not there anymore so don't really see us conceding 3s or 4s tbh.

We have a decent chance of a point I think but win is probably beyond us like the vast majority of games we've played since early December.

There were 2 challenges coming in, but that's what happens in football when players try to attempt to tackle and take the ball from another player. Attempting to avoid the challenges by doing a swan dive and tricking the referee to award a penalty is cheating.

I hope Smith can get a performance out of this bunch and prove a lot of us wrong.
