He's quite right to go down if someone makes contact with him in the area. Abraham's reaction is irrelevant. He gets kicked. Penalty.

I couldn't stand Bruceball but some of the recent performances, including this one, are worse if anything. There's a fair bit of hoofing going on.  A lot of them don't seem interested in making an effort.  I do wonder if maybe they just don't like Smith.

There have been many times I have not liked my bosses (apart from Dave, he's ace) but I have always done my job to the very best of my ability.

Yes but you're not a footballer Leeg.  They're a "special" breed and it's not unknown for them to the opposite.

I don't think it was a pen, but the ref hasn't given him anything all game and a fair others have been fouls. The one on Green a little later was a definite foul though.

Fair point. Player power.

Commentator talking some amount of pish. "Yes he does catch him but it's not a penalty" because... reasons.

Because it's a contact sport and not all contact is a foul.

Not a pen for me. Tammy left his leg there looking for it.

On first viewing I thought it was, but seeing the replays, I don't think it was.

Same for me

I can see why Kodjia wants to get out if he can't get a game when we need a goal.

Yes but you're not a footballer Leeg.

Nor are half of our players.

Hologram should have scored.

If you make contact and don't get the ball, it's a foul. And it isn't a contact sport, with the exception of shoulder charges.
