I was looking forward to seeing how we are against one of the top sides now. I'm not liking the answer.

It's not about grit and determination, it's about pace and positioning, they're playing at a high tempo and our midfield and defence are all over the place trying to stay with the runners. It's resulting in us being 8-9 men behind the ball and they just camping out in our half.

Smith needs to start looking at how to get more energy into the midfield with the players he has.

He’s just picked Jedinak. Clueless.

Who else has he got to pick? They're all shit.

He's just had a transfer window, and his midfield pick was some 12 year old nobody from Swansea who's been terrible for the last two years, and who the Swans fans were immensely pleased to see the back of.

Or maybe that's the only one who was available. We haven't really seen him play yet and he's not available tonight so who should he have picked?

Unfortunately reality really is biting, a number of our players out there have seen much better days

Why Smith keeps trying to get them to play a pressing type of game is another matter

26 minutes for our first attempt on goal. Oh, and it's a bag of shit.

Well these players were doing plenty of running and accurate passing a few weeks ago. And now they look shit scared of the job. I'm not advocating Bruceball.

Probably 6 players starting that in truth I wouldn’t care if they never played for us again.

Smith's out of his depth made all the wrong choices in the window and will be gone by June.

Mings, Abraham and McGinn are the only players we have,  What a waste of a window. Two of them aren't ours.
