Do the coppers still do that thing at Stoke station where you are forced into certain pubs or are you free to roam if you wish. Last couple of times i went we had no choice.

Normally they direct mass of away fans to Staffs Student union bar which is the designated away pub. Either that or walk to Stoke but they're pretty much home dominated (although the Glebe is worth a visit).

Personally I'd get off at Stone and then bus it up. Some good boozers there.

Dare I say plenty of space in home ends for any fan that can't get an away ticket.

Only problem I've had was in a car park near the ground, where my car was run into twice in a few minutes.

Two H&V mods were in the car at the time. With two such disasters in quick succession, there's no prizes for guessing who one of the Mods was :)
