I bought tickets for this just over 2 weeks ago. A few days later my Dad died. After the game, I'll be going to Worksop where he lived to empty his bungalow and then go to the funeral. I could really do with a Villa win as the last 2 weeks have been bloody hard.

So please Villa, win.

There’ll be plenty more times to get 3 pts in championship over next few years, so don’t pin everything on tomorrow, ur current circumstances are much more important . 3pts, however may just numb ur pain for a couple of minutes....it’s nice to know that we are all desperate for 3 pts but tomorrow knowing they’ll be more poignant for you wil make them special. Condolences, best wishes and good luck for tomorrow UTV

Rarely have I wanted Villa to win so much. Good luck with everything, devilla.

We just have to win, really, really simple, no f**king excuses and play for 90 minutes not just for one half!

If we don't beat this lot and Reading away, then we should all pack up!
This...apart from some of the players should be fcuked off if we don't get 6pts.

Stay strong devilla.

Firstly, condolences to you and all your family Devilla. Hope they win for you today.

If we can get the first goal, I think we will be fine. Lambert will know from his time here that keeping the score at 0-0 or snatching a lead will frustrate the crowd. They will probably score though just because our defence is so fragile at the moment. I'll go 3-1. Abraham with two and El Ghazi. Paul Mariner for them.

is this MON Mk2's first return to VP? Apologies if not, but I don't like to think of him too much so have no idea of his recent movements, but I guess they are all shite.

What I think will happen:

3+ goals.

Abraham at least 2
Green to start and have some minutes

Villa win with gusto!
And a clean sheet

Final whistle
Lambert get some muted applause from all fans ! Home and away
