Ashton Agar has a fractured ankle and he misses the rest of the T20 season, likewise with Ian Bell now injured with a knee tendon problem. Olly Stone has had a recurrence of his back problem so he's out for the next 2 weeks and is out of contention for the Lord's Test.
Can the injury situation get any worse this season? We're now having to scramble around to get a T20 replacement for Agar.
That's mental.

Bears have had a horrible season for injuries, it's actually pretty amazing that they're not bottom, if they avoid relegation this season it should be seen as a massive triumph all things considered.

189-6 which will be a difficult chase for us.

Patel and Edwards both took a pasting, their combined 7 overs went for 87 and neither took a wicket.

Thankfully Brookes, Rhodes and Thomson were pretty economical.

Incredible figures for Ackermann, 4 overs bowled 7 wickets for 20 runs.

7-18 wasn’t it? Best figures ever in Twenty20.

Well done to him, but that was beyond pathetic from the Bears.

Pears’ tail wagged nicely against Aus today. 120 odd for the 9th & 10th wickets

Might need to switch the batting order round - 1 to 6 have been completely diabolical in red ball cricket most of the season

The Bears have signed Chris Green to replace Ashton Agar:

No I've never heard of him either.

Good economy rate and a decent strike rate with the bat.  After the other night any reinforcements are welcome.

What we really need though is a destroyer of bowling.

Bears are woeful and clearly don't have any money for high quality signings either
