Captains Choice
« on: January 15, 2019, 05:55:35 PM »
One of the contributory factors of Villa's recent lack of success in my humble opinion has been the lack of a leader on the pitch. So, to lighten the mood somewhat, could I ask contributors the following:-

a) Who do you think has been the best Captain whilst you have been following the Villa?

b) Who do you think should be wearing the Captains armband now and why?

A) ignoring Dennis as I was only 7 at the time I’ll go for Southgate

B) Jed Steer is the most vocal judging by the Cup game :-) hopefully we buy a central midfielder with a voice on pitch

Obviously Mortimer, but both Richardson and Townsend were good.

Out of the current shower would go for McGinn.
