Depends if we’re in prem or champ ?!😜

Can’t believe there’s so few senior ones out of contract

I don't know many of the kids, but of the older players on that OP list, only Jed Steer is worth keeping, as a back up to Kalinic.  The rest of them will save us a fortune in salary and ease FFP issues quite nicely.

The following are out of contract at the end of the season, who would you give another year to? ;

Jed Steer, Tommy Elphick, Alan Hutton, Glen Whelan, Mile Jedinak, Mark Bunn, Ritchie de Laet, Micah Richards, Mitch Clarke, Jordan Lyden, Kelsey Mooney, Isiah Bazeley-Graham, Easah Suliman, Alex Prosser, Jack Clarke, Josef Pastorek, Harry McKirdy, Jordon Cox, Corey Taylor, Callum O'Hare, Harvey Knibbs, Indiana Vassilev.

Under youth contract until the end of season;

Callum Stretch, Callum Rowe, Jake Walker, Charlie McChonnachie, Ethan Patterson, Mungo Bridge, Luke Ige, Jack Birch, Lewis Brunt, Charlie Farr, Colin Odutayo, Jacob Ramsey, Ben Guy, Michael Tait, Dimitri Sea.

I would genuinely only keep Steer in the list from Steer to Richards which would free up about £250k a month in wages at a guess. Of the younger players after that, I haven’t a clue though Clarke (M) and Clarke (J) and O’Hare we hear good things about.

Same. Keep Jed and be well rid of the rest. No idea if any of the kids are good enough to break into the first team squad.

Certainly should be a priority for DS to sign up players with comedy names like Indiana Vassilev, Harvy Knibbs, Charlie McChonnachie and my personal fave......Mungo Bridge

Keep - anyone with the capacity to improve from the younger players. Even if we can then move them on for a small fee that's a good model to operate.

Get rid - anyone who doesn't got into the above group. Not against short term contracts for older players on reasonable wages that can do a job as long as they don't impede the benefits of longer term prospects. (See Hutton deal last summer)

I would put Micah Richards on a five year contract for us his performances this season have been outstanding.

I'd agree with this. Everyone up to and including Richards can go (but I'd consider Steer and RDL getting another year if they have the right attitude).

Of the rest I'd prefer to see us keep almost all of them, most are U20 so there's plenty of time for them to improve, I guess they've all got 6 months to earn a contract.

I'd clear out anyone that's played a competitive game for us and lost. Keep the rest.

I would put Micah Richards in a cannon and fire him into the sun.

I fixed that for you.

In all the games Villa have lost so far this season, Micah was absent.

Just sayin'.........

As I watch the youth and reserves most weeks I will comment on them as everyone has their own opinion on the  senior players I guess.
I will split them into two groups, Young Professionals and YTS players.

My personal opinion of course and I have been known to be wrong.

Young Professionals.

Mitch Clark - I think is along with Callum O'Hare the best young player at the club and has done well at Port Vale.  Keep.
Jordan Lyden - Bog standard. Release
Kelsey Mooney - Isiah Bazely - Graham - Not quite good enough, Release
Easah Sulliman - Never been impressed as not physically strong enough, Release.
Alex Prosser - Not flash but does a good job and only 19 - Worth keeping for a year.  Best player against Man U .
Jack Clarke - One of my favourites but I fear lack of pace will be his downfall. He will have a career - Keep
Josef Pastorek - The club kept him as He had an injury. I think He has already left - Release.
Harry McKirdy - I like him and unlike most of the other players we have loaned out He has done well, as with Jack Clarke I think He will have a career but probably not quite good enough for us - Give him a Year
Jordan Cox, Corey Taylor - Not quite good enough - Release.
Callum O'Hare - Definitely Keep. Very good player.
Harvey Knibbs - Surprised He got a Pro Contract - Release.
Indy - Is in the Youth Team (U 18s) so shouldn't be included here - Offer a Pro Contract.
