I'm not having a pop at Smith per se, and certainly not as a reaction to today, but we've been hanging in games without Grealish rather than creating our own momentum, and that can't go on. Sooner or later we have to find a way to win without him.

We've had 5 games in two weeks. It's about sticking plasters with a schedule like that. He made enough of a difference when he came in with some time on the training ground to suggest he can sort it long term.
