Don't understand selecting McGinn and Whelan today. Both need resting and we have two obvious experienced options on the bench.

Agree Smith particularly referred to Connor and mcginn both being tiered and still plays the one that puts the most miles in. Can only be tactical guess against they’re 11

Another smith moan in the week is the constant reference to playing 3 RB’s in defence and today he chooses to play one at CB !

Out of interest which other CB would you have played instead? Tuanzebe who is injured, Chester who is injured and needs a rest or  Suliman who is ineligible?

Revan. Why include a CB in the squad over the last few weeks and then not play him at all when there's a chance to?

Absolutely, it’s not just me that’s seen that then 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Maybe he doesn't think he's ready? I'm not sure a centre-half who's never ever played a minute is any more use than Hutton or Bree to be honest. If we were playing a team of kids fair enough but he's obviously picking a team to try to win the game. Plus Hogan.

Other teams have no choice but to throw in kids, ready or not. Smith at Brentford would have been in that position I'm sure. I think it's one of our problems across many managers is this over reliance on past it players. I would rather he had given Revan a chance today even if he isn't perfect than give Hutton yet another game and in a position that we all know he's not suited to and frankly not very good in at all.

It happens far too often these days that I watch our games and think 'The opposition knock it about better than us.'

FFS, are Kalinic’s gloves sponsored by Olivio?

Getting beaten by a team with Wayne Routledge in it, he must be 45 now.

Sounds like O'Hare has lost possession frequently.

Might be a guide to why he's rarely played.

We are a depressing basket case of a club aren't we? We were all so excited about the Dean Smith revolution. Didn't take long for our shite players to revert to type.

Hogan isn't Tammy.
O'Hare showing why he's not ready.
Defence can't stop goals.
Midfield has massive holes once we lose the ball.

Apart from that, looking good.

The ST holders who stayed away made a good decision.  That was a very very dull 45 minutes.  In which we were very very poor.

Sub 3 midfielders, move El Ghazi in the middle for O'Hare, Kodjia out wide, Bjarnasson for Whelan and Lansbury for Mcginn.
