Surprised to see McGinn in there to be honest and I fully expected to see Whelan (FFS). I thought either BB or Lasbury might have got a game. Anyway nice to see Callum get a start.

Bolasie not even on the bench. Think it's his best position, certainly gives us a lift when he comes on.

Great to see O'Hare make a start. Good luck, Collum.

If we're starting Hogan I'd rather him upfront in a two tbh.

Five minutes and the ball will be flying off his boot back towards the halfway line I imagine.

Nice to see OHare start, would have preferred to see Davis start than Hogan, who knows maybe today could kick start his season.

Seems a pretty strong team and maybe a pointer to how we'll set up minus Abraham. Hogan being selected…….taxi for Kodjia long term?

Hope not. Kodjia can play centrally or out wide in a 3, Hogan can only play as a centre forward and done a very poor impression of one in last two years.

I imagine with us not imminent in getting a new CF in Kodjia is being rested as you wouldn't want him to pick up a knock and miss the January games.

yeah you could be right. I just feel he's not the type of forward Smith would choose to play given the option and given he's 29 now, I wouldn't be surprised if we'll cash in this summer while he's still worth something. We'll see who gets the nod in January I guess
