Was thinking the same thing at half. We haven’t been perfect but we’ve been exponentially better since his departure.. with the same crop of talent. Did he “right the ship”? Sure.. but nothing more than that.

At this point I’m actually reassured with what Purslow said. We’re in no rush to go up. We have numerous defensive issues to address and right now I would like to see us fix those. We have all the firepower needed to dominate this division, but a bottom half defence. If we get in the playoffs - great. If not, with Leeds likely going up with Norwich and maybe Albion, the three sides coming down possibly Fulham, Huddersfield and Cardiff, there is no reason with 2 windows and a full pre season why we won’t walk it next season.
