Whelan and Hourihane together is just shit. Surely he can see in training that neither have pace or ability to drive us in the final third.

Whelan in front of a makeshift centre back pairing makes perfect sense . Mcginn to drive us forward .

Come on keep the faith . It’s not like Deano won’t have given it  some thought . In dean we trust .

Come on villa , get in there !!

Would prefer Hourihane slipping back one next to Whelan. Nailed on 0-0 I guess

How bad is Axel’s injury? FFS can we not get any luck defensively?

Foot injury , Metatarsal out for a few weeks according to Smith ..as big a blow as Grealish due to lack of cover there

Don’t understand Whelan choice when BB is on bench.

I bet JT could still do more than capably at CB.

Thanks Steve for leaving us so criminally short in that position.

I'd take a draw, but come on you Villa boys!!

Lack of match fitness in a high tempo game I’d guess. Tough to come back into the team after so long in such a high profile game

That's bad news about Axel, going for a draw. The good news is that's a strong bench.

Two things you can always count on. Dirty Leeds will be Dirty Leeds and their fans will behave like arseholes. Twas ever thus
