Does anyone know for certain that he actually did what he's supposed to have done?

Something happened Dave, so are you telling us it didn't?

Well, there were public apologies from Dunne and Collins, and a statement from the club that they'd been fined for disciplinary offences.

The story went that Collins hit Sid, but nobody said so for certain. The published stories touched on a "heated argument" but I've not seen an actual assault claimed anywhere.

I sure it’s all water under the bridge anyway.

Yes, but apart from that? :-)

Has Collins actually signed this 5 week deal? Nothing on the OS?

I saw it on a twitter link to the Evening Mail, so presumed it was safe to post as ‘news’

Indeed. Wasn't he pissed up and rowing with bouncers in town a few months later as well?

That, and his comments when he left in 2012 (about him never wanting to leave West Ham in the first place) make this an odd one. Even allowing for our current lack of options.

Getting rid back then and getting any sort of money for him at all was one of Lamberk's better deals.

There's nothing daft about a 5 week deal for an experienced, fit player.

I know with a degree of certainty that he actually didn't do what he was supposed to for the majority of his last stint; defend properly. I suppose he's not alone in that regard over the past decade and more, although he does have these allegations to his name on top of that.

Like i say though, i won't get my knickers in a twist for 5 games. I would expect he'll be a better option than Jedinak there but i doubt if he is called upon he'll put in the kind of performances that will have many people clammering for us to sign him for longer.

Just watched DS interview for Friday's match and it would appear that Collins hasn't signed a deal (as Collins hasn't got the match fitness required) yet?!  Looks as though the report in the Mail was either wrong or at best premature.

Still not signed (DS press Conference) I think he is still carrying an injury. At least Jedinak is back training …...
