If he can shore up our defence, allowing us to take 15 points then why not? I don't give a fuck if he's a twat as long as he stops opposition twats from scoring and distributes the ball to our players in a non-twattish manner.

It's much the same as Pires - a short-term move to get us out of a short-term problem.

it’s reportedly a 5 week contract not a season long one on big bucks

I hope Villa have moved into a more sensible time with this sort of thing now which will make a change from times past

Hopefully with a bit more success than that particular example.

Anybody fancy a bet on how many games he plays in that five weeks?  My money is on three with a saver on two.

A word of explanation because I back DS totally.  I doubt that he is match fit and at this time of year in winter conditions injuries come thick and fast.

He's a massive twat but thanks to spuddy we don't have a fat lot of choice. I doubt he'll play much as he'll be cover, and I hope he doesn't. Pisses me off though that we have little choice but to top up that wankers pension pot.

Excluding one incident that very few know the full details of, he’s always seemed OK. Welcome back Collins.

Did he make some inappropriate remarks when he left?

Collins is a good option at this stage. We've no other choice until January. I don't get the derogatory comments??

According to reports he got into a scuffle with Gordon Cowans at a club training camp. He was also a bit of a twat when he came back with West Ham, making some choice comments to the Lower Trinity.

There was also the nightclub incident with Chris Herd and Snakeboy.
