I was screaming at Hutton to pass, when McGinn shaped to shoot vs Shef Wed I was thinking FFS don't shoot from there, what do I know.

I thought it would be a long time before I saw a better goal than McGinns, but that goal today, for how it was scored, who scored it & who it was against was a moment of absolute joy.
it was lovely to watch, but it was terrible defending. He is slow as fk and they just stood off him, while he jogged past 3 or 4 of their players, one of them should have dived in,as it was obvious where he was heading. The finish was absolute quality, cool and calm, picked his spot to perfection.

I've not been paying attention to football recently due to family matters so can anyone tell me what the sustained applause was for around  the 22 minute mark?

In the history of Villa Blues derbies I can't think of a better goal to decide the match than the one from the Scottish Cafu.

Alan Evans in 81 was pretty close

Hutton is not slow. I believe he’s still one of our fastest players. They should’ve have took him out. Great celebrations all round the ground

just watched it a couple of times again and I concede your point, he wasn’t slow. He got shoved at one point that put him off his stride. Brilliant finish.

He's not slow. Don't forget that run also came after 75 minutes of a pulsating game, where he had been up and down that pitch dozens of times. He must be as fit as fuck!

Evans was a one-in-a-million strike - i was stood on the Tilton at the time and my reaction was just sheer disbelief.
