Aston Villa vs SHA Match Thread

Well...obviously massive blow about McGinn...and trying to stay positive about Whelan who in fairness hasn't done all that badly in cameo roles. Anyway the tactics will be more important so let's see how this plays out

Shame about McGinn. Come on Glenn. Do us proud.

Jota out for them. Craig Gardner starts. Pond life.

Thought Yannick might get a start but guess he's our impact option off the bench again. Good job Chester is fit with Jedinak also injured.

SHA gone 5-3-2 today, no Jota in their 18. Interested how we deal with that.

Need to keep their front two quiet, and let's see if they target Jack. Not that it really matters, as he'll skip around them.

I fancy Albert and Kodjia to burst their bubble.

Full backs pushed high and dominating territory. Stop their wing backs getting on should stop the high ball for their forwards.

Nice to see O'Hare on the bench.  Hopefully another local lad derby hero in the making.

This.

Also, Whelen will relish the scrap, leaving our attacking threat to run riot, hopefully.

They are struggling with injuries and have only named six players.

Camp Colin (ooh, get him)
Morrison Dean
Harding Pedersen
Craig Gardner
Kieftenbeld Mahoney
Adam Jutkiewicz
