How the fuck are fans supposed to book travel and accommodation with this either/or arrangement?

And if it's a Friday - Scousers as well as northern Villans have to negotiate the M6 with all its regular Friday Frolics.

But hey - when have the people attending at the ground ever been factored in to Sky's calculations?

It's it's Friday then it's specifically being moved to benefit us and give us more time to prepare for a European final, rather than anything to do with Sky, no?

My point was about the Prem being beholden to Sky and the way fans are inconvenienced.

In thst regard, there's a piece on the BBC website about PSG's tactical fluidity which requires huge physical efforts from the players, which is helped considerably by PSG's ability to rest some players at weekends  because of the weakness of Ligue 1.

It prompted this reply:

"I’d say Ligue 1 giving them holidays before any major game is probably the biggest tactical advantage".

To which somebody else responded:

"The money of PSG talks in France and the money of Sky and the Premier League talks in England".

Nail on the head.

Sky could agree for both matches to be played on the Friday, allowing fans to begin making travel arrangements if required. They presumably haven't done so as they want to maintain the opportunity to show both games separately. So, it is a Sky choice.
