Well moved for Europe and now happen to be on TV.

Yes, but I didn’t want to start a new thread.

It will be interesting what happens with the Us v Plop or the Manure/Forest matches this year if either team happen to get to the final. Afterall the PL set a precedent of moving matches away from Sunday for the UEFA final.

At least it's a BH next day (for some) if it is the Sunday.

Yep the only acceptable scenario for a Sunday 7pm KO.

Sunday 7pm? Oh, fuck off. I'm sure that would be the second time we have had a home game kick off at that time and nobody else has had it once.

And we lost that one and I got back to the car to find it had been stripped.

Normally I wouldn't feel sorry for Spurs fans but 7pm on a Sunday of a Bank Holiday weekend is really shit for travel too.

It’s only on the Sunday if we get to the Europa League Semi.

Sunday 7pm? Oh, fuck off. I'm sure that would be the second time we have had a home game kick off at that time and nobody else has had it once.

It was ridiculous how the Palace game got moved to that timeslot.

When Sky picked it for originally the Friday night they knew full well at that stage that Palace's appeal to play in Europa league was going to fail and they'd be playing a play off 24 hours before on the Thursday.

So o.k just move it to Sunday 2pm like all the other games following Europa...However Sky didn't want to use up one of their pick options for later in the season and moved it to the 7pm kick off as "bonus" option (I had this explained to me months back by the scheduling boffins on the Digital Spy forum).

All that faffing around for the third game of the season.

Also last season Spurs at home was going to be played at 7pm on the Sunday but then got moved to the Friday as Spurs demanded more time to prepare for the Europa league final so we'd be well within our rights to demand the same for Liverpool match if we get there.

Just one Sat 3pm kick off at home is very poor this season. That is actually one benefit of getting back in CL as have to play on the Saturday if we're then playing the following Tuesday and think we had 5-6 Sat 3pms last season at VP.

It’s only on the Sunday if we get to the Europa League Semi.

Which a) is a distinct possibility and b) we won't know the outcome of until 16 April so gives people almost three weeks' less time to prepare. The either/or element makes it worse, not better.

Well we can all only hope that this game is a Sunday 7pm kick off.
