I see Villa v Fulham on Saturday 27 September at 3pm is unchanged, whereas other fixtures for that weekend have been changed. Is that it then, for that Fulham game?

Depends if our Europa League match the previous week is the Wednesday or the Thursday...

Why don't they just let the TV companies prepare the fixture lists in the first place?

Aren't they all on Thursdays?

Each of the three competitions has one week of "exclusivity" where the other two tournaments aren't being played and so matches are spread across Wednesday and Thursday.

There is also a possibility that an away game might not be played on Thursday if there are too many European games in the city that night. (Eg somewhere like Istanbul that has loads of teams, they don't want them playing the same day).

sunderland away moved to sunday 2pm on 21 september.

Fucking hell it enrages me when the tv companies do this, we'll have ample opportunity to play in Sundays this year, why move games we dont need to.

To fill quotas basically so they can get some of the fodder out of the way and focus on Big 6/7/8 for most of second half of the season.

Hopefully we play first Europa game on the Wednesday and the Fulham game stays at Saturday 3pm.

Think Burnley the week after will be a Sun 2pm as then Europa reverts to all games on the Thursday.

I am making one of my rare trips to VP from Australia for the Fulham game. I'm treating my brother to a seat in the Terrace View at the back of the Holte End.
I was certain that this game would probably be put back to the Sunday or Monday because we have our first Europa League game in midweek before Fulham.
I know discover that some Europa League games this season could be played on Wednesdays.
I have made travel and accommodation arrangements on the strength of that assumption.
Who said "never assume anything"?

So the potential Europa League dates are all published by UEFA already

Short answer is no, it may change again if we're picked on the Thursday.

Going back to the Palace game, unless it's rescheduled for a midday kick off I'm going to have to try and swap out of a shift. Hope I can find out which one soon...
