Anyone heard if the Brentford game has been moved yet? I read that Chelsea v West Ham has been moved to the Fri night, which doesn't at all sound like a recipe for trouble..

Only the fixture changes for the first weekend have been confirmed officially. The remaining August and September alterations are due to be announced next week but they're often a few days late. My guess is we will know the dates of our first half a dozen games within a fortnight, unless they delay further pending the resolution of the Palace/Forest/Brighton European qualification issue.

Villa v Palace now Friday 29th August 8pm.  Massive stroke of luck for me as I'm at a wedding on the 30th.

That's very annoying. It was the one game I had earmarked to go to, as a near certain 3pm Saturday game.

Just followed PrAVda instruction to update my online calendar and it still has the game on the 30th.

UKR, would it be worth your while considering travelling to B66HE using the Cross City Line from Redditch via Alvechurch and Barnt Green to Aston?

I come down the M6 and hook off at Jnctn10 to either Walsall/Bescot and hop on the train to Witton station  to avoid the aggro on the M6 from J10 down to Spaghetti and car parking hassle.

Using Tame Bridge Parkway even better, nearer to Witton and Aston than Walsall or Bescot Stadium

True, but the shorter journey times on the train are imo outweighed by:

Bescot - straight onto the M6 at J9
Parkway's further from the M6 than Walsall - AND you can grab a Greggs in Walsall
