Shame Manure was in the other leg. It would have been interesting if that was a deciding factor or whether they would have done it even if Spurs was the only English team with the potential final appearance.

I've just rang the ticket office and had a refund on my ticket, as was already elsewhere on the Friday at a gig (and which I wouldn't get a refund on) which is really annoying, giving that Spurs ain't even guaranteed to be in the final yet.

Was looking forward to the match, especially being the last home match of the season, i've got to more games this season than I have in the last couple for various circumstances and really enjoyed being at VP regularly again

I hope Spurs completely and utterly implode in every single way. And, if I ever needed another reason to hate the Premier League set up this is it.

Sky obviously pushed for it as they now have staggered KO times 19.30 for us and 20.15 for the other game.

A Bodo v Bilbao final would be even better now.

Sky wanted the Thursday, I imagine. Friday was a compromise, according to what Vidagany has stated.

What happens if the go out on Thursday? I don't suppose the games gets moved back.

It'll make for some brilliant piss taking if nothing else

1. Your here early to accommodate you for a game that isn't happening.
2. Because you were knocked out by a team from town with a population less than you stadium capacity.

I think a gesture for the inconvenience from the Club would be good, a free pint or pie. It would be more of an acknowledgement than a freebie and would further unite the Club with the fans, enhance that feeling on the night of the game and make it fucking clear to the PL how pissed off the Club are and that it wasn't something anyone involved with the Club are happy with. Extend the offer to Spurs fans as well.

This is 100% on the rank incompetence of the PL, Spurs are totally right to ask the question given the 2 day difference should they both make the final.

The draw that fave path to the final was made weeks and weeks ago before we played Brugges and they could reasonably expect that both teams had a good chance to get to final given the level of opposition so this change should have been made then not 10 days before.  Just another show of contempt from the fcuktards thst are the PL.

They have been inconvenienced too? They might be a bit happier regarding time off for their side but we would be seen as rather petty.

Looks like we're banking this credit for redemption at a future date. Sensible.

Maybe they could install a 'Bert Millerchip' of our own for future cup draws.

My thought too. No point burning bridges just yet, we’ll have a period, as is our way, where we have several players injured. We might need our get out of jail card then. They’ll probably tell us to do one though.

Yes, so we get easy draws in future - teams like Bradford and Crystal Palace.
