It's the price of success.  We're more in demand as a result with last night being an exception as you say.  We weren't on the TV in the UK but were in other parts of the world, anywhere in the world  for that matter so accessible to the UK by means.

FFS i hate 5.30 KO it just kills the entire Saturday

Unai sometimes has 3 meetings with the players on match days. A couple of hrs extra gives time for the oxygen in their brains to percolate.

I like 5.30 kick offs. Time to have lunch without having to rush around but still plenty of pub time afterwards. 8pm they're already putting chairs on the tables by the time you get to the pub, 12.30 or 3pm and you can still taste the toothpaste.

Premier League have opted to keep same weekend kick-off TV times to their schedule so

12.30pm and 5.30pm on Saturday, 2pm and 4.30pm on Sunday, as well as 8pm on either Monday or Friday.

And from next season all fixtures played at 2pm on a Sunday will be televised in UK
