5:30 Boxing Day ? Fuck that.
I’ll be watching from the warmth of my house with a nice glass of something and a turkey sandwich.

Indeed, it's a preposterous time to be playing a game, televised or no.

On the bright side, probably our first 2 doubles of the season.

I'll be needing to drink a lot more than that to get through them on current form.

I reckon we have probably won our last three non-televised games against Man U. 2021, 1998, 1995.

Villa v Chelsea on boxing day is on Sky Showcase as well as Sky Sports meaning it it can be watched by people (like me!) with more basic cable packages.

Anyone heard anything about the rearranged fixtures for Leeds and Burnley? You’d have thought next week would be ideal to sort something out as it’s clear midweek and at the weekend. Or are we looking at 2.5 weeks off after Saturdays game and a decent midwinter break? I’m a bit torn between getting a good break to really embed Digne/Coutinho and any other signings or not ending with loads of midweeks later in the season.

Yeah, I'm hoping sense prevails and those two games are scheduled for FA Cup weekends as all 3 clubs are out of that competition.
