Is the game on any other channels, apart from Sky or NowTV?

I 'think' it's on Sky Sports News live too tonight - Which I believe is a freeview channel?

EDIT: Bugger - It used to be freeview. If you have a basic Sky or Virgin bundle (minus Sky Sports), you should be able to get it.

No, it's not been a freeview channel for a few years.

I think a number of the SKY games are also on 'Pick', Freeview channel 11. But I also believe all the 'Pick' games are shared with SKY. I don't think 'Pick' have any exclusive games, whereas the BBC do.

I've bought a month of NowTV for mobile but when I fire-up the app it doesn't seem to know that I have a pass/subscription and won't let me watch. Anyone have any idea?

I thought this was going to be a first time ever for the BBC to show live Premiership games, from the start and for other networks as well to show rest of the games, this was the headline announced by the government on the restart of the football season.

The BBC will broadcast live Premier League football for the first time ever
All remaining 92 Premier League games will be shown live on UK television
The last time the BBC aired top-flight football live was 32 years ago, in 1988
Sky Sports will air 64 games, with 25 - including Everton vs Liverpool - free-to-air
BT Sport will show a total of 20 live matches and Amazon Prime will show four

So if Sky are getting the Lions share and BT and Amazon the rest what do the BBC get, live coverage of how the oranges are sliced at half time??.

By my reckoning between now and the start of July the BBC are showing four exclusive live games and SKY are showing thirty four. I might be wrong. Between now and 26th of June 'Pick' are showing four exclusive live games although I think some games are available on both SKY and PICK and others are available on both SKY and the BBC. SKY have shared some games out but have kept the lions share to themselves. I didn't check the BT Sport live games as I haven't got it.

Yeah 4 games and they'll already have shown two by next Wednesday. Bournemouth-Palace on Saturday and then Norwich-Everton same time as we're playing Newcastle.

I've found this site as very good for a bit of clarity when it comes to who's on what, where and when.

https://www.live-footballontv.com/live-premier-league-football-on-tv.html

It's got very straightforward 'click&go' filters, too, if you wish to narrow down your search by club or broadcaster.

Weekends could be like World Cup watching if you fancy sitting in front of a TV all day

Pick is Sky's Freeview channel. The 25 games Sky are showing free to air will all be on Pick. So that's 29 games on Freeview out of 92.

On otherwise dodgy internet (managed 20 minutes of a 2 hour webex call earlier this week), pretty much perfect streaming of the game through Now TV, and free through the Villa code. Well done to all concerned! I'll resume complaining next week.
