The matches virtually never change with a week or so's notice. The only examples would be cup replays, but they've been phased out past Round Four now, anyway.

Yes, the SKY live games for the forseeable future are up on their website. I am just taking it month by month and writing all the live games down in my diary. I don't have BT Sport but I would guess their website also has all their live fixtures for the next couple of months.

BT sport premier league games.  I bookmark this and the sky page each season and check them every so often.

That sort of attitude is exactly the reason why private companies shouldn't run public services. If you can't be arsed unless there's a big profit in it, that's not running a good service.

In any case, if you're worried about people not paying their fares, invest in more ticket inspectors.

It would be worse if it was government/council run. Why should money be taken away from schools or care services just to get a few hundred/thousand football fans home a bit quicker after matches?

And rather than use more money that could go towards running the service you want to pay people to catch fare dodgers, why don't those people show a bit more personal integrity, then the train operators might actually see the benefit to everyone in running some extra services.

Because football supporters are members of the public and should be supported by public transport. Britain should have public services to match any on the planet. There's also a greater need than ever before to encourage people not to drive due to the whole not wanting the world to end by 2050 thing.

As for your second point, I don't really disagree. People shouldn't be dodging fares. But as we don't live in such a world, then adding extra inspectors seems a commonsense policy.

Plus Arsenal and our biannual surrender against Man U moved to Sunday to give their reserves time to recover from playing in Europe. Wolves will also be moved to Sunday if they make Group Stage.
