The Championship have announced all TV games up to Boxing Day, shame the Premier League can't do similarly, at least once the European games are confirmed.

I had a quick look at those, it's all over the place with so many staggered kick offs, what a mess. Looks like promotion to the PL will bring not only untold riches but more Sat 3pm kick offs to boot.

They are showing loads of EFL games on Sky+, so TV wins again. Every team on at least 20 times.

Every League Cup match is being televised by Sky this season. The final on ITV.

That's good, it's usually hard to find a decent feed for league cup games.

The final being on terrestrial television is a good thing, too. Especially as we haven't won it since it disappeared to Sky.

I don’t think I’ve seen a league cup final since 2008 when it was on in a pub in Reading after we’d won 2-1

You didn't watch the 2010 or 2020 finals?

Erased from memory, like the 2015 cup final.

Fair. Promising, though, that we always make a final every five years, with next year being 2025.

Hopefully we can keep up that tradition but abandon the tradition of always losing.

I should have specified finals we didn’t play in. I was at Wembley in 2020 but missed the 2010 final as I was living in China and couldn’t get a ticket. Flew back a few weeks later for the Chelsea semi final.

I did watch the 2010 final in a bar. To top off the anger at Phil Dowd and losing the game, the time difference meant that going home and trying to sleep at 3am was impossible.  A shit night and a shit Monday at work.

Has the Arsenal game been moved again ?

I've just had an email from Villa saying........

Additional tickets for our first home match of the season vs Arsenal are now on sale to season ticket holders.

The Gunners visit Villa Park on Saturday, August 24 (ko 12.30pm) a week after Unai Emery's team have kicked off their campaign at West Ham United.

The game is listed on the BBC and Pravda as at 17:30

I think they've fooked up there - I had same mail. Villa site still says 5:30pm so I'm guessing the email is a typo.

Has the Arsenal game been moved again ?

Still 17.30 on the Sky website. It won't be the first time the ticket office have got it wrong.
