They really dont give a shit about football fans do they?

If anything covid played right into their hands and taught them a watching audience is no worse than the backdrop of sound from supporters

Just like my dad said when they paid Haynes £100 per week - the game is gone to shit

Ridiculous decision if true.
That's a 9.30 return home for me and I'm not that far from VP.

same here....6.30pm ko about 2 hours for the match so around 8.30pm and then approx 2 hours home so back around 10.30ish....on a Sunday :(

maybe it is time to become an armchair supporter....

There's talk of matches being moved to Xmas Eve this year, it falls on a Sunday. The last time a match was played then was in '95, Leeds V Newton Heath. I remember it very well because while I was watching the girl I was seeing decided it was the perfect time to phone and give me the sack.

Anyway, I'd wager our game is unlikely to move, Sheffield Utd at home should stay where it is I would've thought.

The same situation is mooted for NYE but I don't think games that day are particularly unusual.

Wolves v Chelsea at Molineux is the talk for Christmas Eve.

Of course it does, you only have to watch any game on Sky and the way they use the crowd mics is to create a faux atmosphere…the way the crowd is seemingly so loud and the commentators barely heard is sooo sooo fake…the even make the Emirates sound like there is noise

No Amazon after next season. Good, staggered kick offs and 8.15 games midweek are shite.

A few more Saturday night and Friday night games as well. The majority of PL games will now be live on TV. 270 out of 380 live.
