Anyone know why the Palace game is at 3pm on a Sunday?

Seems like all games are provisionally down for that time, presumably to avoid a clash with the cup final the day before. I wouldn't assume it will definitely kick off then (and it definitely won't if Palace make the final).

Are we better at VP in daylight or under the lights? I don't trust us playing weekend-midweek-weekend, our little lambs aren't used to it and we don't do squad rotation.

We had some cracking matches in the championship under the lights. Some good ones in our first season up with the late winners v Leicester and Watford aswell.

Generally find there's more buzz to VP for a midweek game and the team generally responds compared to more mundane Saturday games.

If we could play every gane midweek under lights we'd win the league*.

*Slight poetic licence.

The club has just put tickets for the Liverpool game on sale from 5pm today, but there's no date or kickoff time because Liverpool are in the FA Cup semis.

So buy a ticket for something that you have no idea when it will be held - and hope that it doesn't clash with something that you need to be at or can't postpone.

Fans once again being treated appallingly.

Which is pretty much the whole season long experience of a season ticket holder.

That is correct - I asked VP.

I just can't believe that the Burnley and Liverpool games have still not been rescheduled. And it's what, just 8 weeks to the end of the season now? Cutting it fine or what?

The Burnley game is crying out to be rescheduled for the 16th and still has not been fixed for then. Why?

Have we ever got so close to the end of a season without playing one of the teams?

Ah OK, never thought to check their fixture list. They had quite a few games postponed of course.

Yeah it’s wrong. I remember back in the day we’d play a couple of games over the Easter weekend. Don’t know why it was changed but I wish we’d go back to it. It was like a mini Christmas football fest.

Not for me. Seem to remember our friendly local church shafting us by banning us from playing on Good Friday meaning we had to play on Saturday and were at a disadvantage having had a day less rest than our opponents when we played again on the Monday. Fuck that shit.

The church couldn't ban us.

The club obligingly moved a match against Reading from Good Friday to the Saturday, the only Championship match on a Saturday that weekend. We then played Fulham in midweek. Lost both matches 3-1. Thanks very much God.
