Well now there's another free Saturday and another  midweek slot to find.

No chance of slotting in the Burnley home game then as they play West Ham on  Easter Sunday.

An Easter weekend free of Villa doesn't sound so bad based on yesterday.

If Liverpool make the Champions League semi final, I can’t see an obvious place to fit in the game

Possible to fit in the Burnley home game on the Tue/Wed before the away fixture.

Looking at the fixtures and permutations.
Burnley home likely to be April 26/7 - they have a midweek game the week before. We could slot it in just after Easter weekend, but that's probably short notice.
Liverpool home likely to be May 10/11 - we could play them the midweek after, but with a chance of Palace making the final (even as outsiders), we'll have to keep May 17/18 free just for that game - they won't want to play midweek before a final.

Annoying Burnley are playing West Ham that weekend. I assume that will be placed sometime in April.

Was going to say Liverpool at home will go to last midweek but FA cup final is being played again as same weekend as 37th games so they'll have to play that then if they make cup final. Could also be in CL SFs so that rules out two other midweeks in May.

Whenever it gets played you can guarantee we will look the more tired of the two teams despite playing 15 less games and we will run out passive 2-0 losers.

Meanwhile they will moan about fixture congestion having played Saturday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday.

The club has just put tickets for the Liverpool game on sale from 5pm today, but there's no date or kickoff time because Liverpool are in the FA Cup semis.

So buy a ticket for something that you have no idea when it will be held - and hope that it doesn't clash with something that you need to be at or can't postpone.

Fans once again being treated appallingly.

It's a bit Partridge:

"Fancy coming to the match?"
"When is it?"
"Dunno"

Apparently Liverpool wil go the midweek before the cup final.

Palace at home will also have to go midweek if they get to the final.

Are we better at VP in daylight or under the lights? I don't trust us playing weekend-midweek-weekend, our little lambs aren't used to it and we don't do squad rotation.

We had some cracking matches in the championship under the lights. Some good ones in our first season up with the late winners v Leicester and Watford aswell.

Generally find there's more buzz to VP for a midweek game and the team generally responds compared to more mundane Saturday games.
