Not at all surprised at the side K Mac has picked.

He won't change much, he did the same when Sherwood was canned. Picked exactly the same team that been awful previously, and surprise, surprise, they were awful again.

Given he knows it's only going to be 1 game and he apparently only got 1 training session I can understand him picking virtually the same 11.

In terms of approach i do n't think he's ever recovered from the dicking at Newcastle.
