No Gabby, Bacuna or Lescott in the line up.

It appears to be 4-4-1-1 which I like but when you have Bolasie available why play Elmo as the winger or wide midfielder? Taylor coming back isn't a shock, but I would rather have seen Elmo RB and Hutton LB.

Elmo in midfield ? No wonder McDonalds managerial career never flourished.

Crap side.  Grealish on the left again then.  Elmo on the wing, no Bolasie.

Could that be three centre backs with Hutton playing centrally and Elmo at wing back?

Looks like a 4-1-4-1 to me. Very defensive shite

Can't see Grealish being left-hand side, more likely behind Abraham - certainly that is what I hope.

No defenders on the bench. Presume if someone gets injured Elmo drops in. Please win Villa.

5-3-2
Elmo and Taylor wing backs
Grealish up front with Abraham

I reckon anyway...

Conservative team selection in a Brucey style . Although it's somewhere we never seem to get a lot,I was hoping we'd at least give Bolaise/El Ghazi a run wide..and I'd have freshened it up in central midfield with Whelan in..

Interesting no Ghazi in the 17..but the return of Lansbury and Hogan...Maybe there was a touch of conflict involved with Bruce previously.. plenty kn the bench if we can keep it level to win it late.

Id expect Grealish to play off Abraham. Not the worst side. I really don't like Elmo right side of midfield but AA performances have stunk all season. Elmo has a fair few assists racked up. Likes of BB, Hourihane and McGinn very fortunate to retain their positions after their disappearing act v Preston.

With all those forwards available he has picked just one. Interesting.

I think it looks like that as well, unless Elmohamady is going to play wide right, which would be a bit stupid seeing as we have two right wingers on the bench.
