Truly bizarre that at home to the worst side in the division we ended the game with 4 defenders and none of them are CB (going by SB rules) and no strikers.

Shocking 2nd half, Preston, the bottom team, could have had half a dozen goals, virtually every ball that come into our box was won by one their players.

BRUCE OUT NOW

For all the stick he's taken this season Jedinak at CB would've been ideal last half hour. And given he is great for them for Australia he'd have taken the penalty I'd imagine.

As far as I'm concerned the decent thing to do is to admit you've made a fucking mess of things and walk away, If he did that I reckon most fans would put a lot of the shit in the last 6 months down to his family situation and he'd get very little shit from anyone. By reacting like he did after Rotherham and giving interviews where he appears to be goading the fans and board (as if he's trying to get pushed) he's bringing the abuse on to himself.  I try really hard to keep everything about his actions but it's getting harder by the week to not just go both barrels at him as a person.

The situation is now toxic and we'd honestly be better off with a tea lady in the dugout for Saturday. For everyone's sake he needs to go tomorrow or things will get ugly.

Oh, and it was definitely a penalty for them and Chester made no attempt to win the ball (it was just clumsy really) so I can sort of understand why the ref gave a red but I suspect it'll be over turned.

He lost that game when he panicked and substituted Abraham straight away. Everything after that was a foregone conclusion. The fact we were even in a position to win the game shows how crap Preston were. I thought the 1st half performance was really really poor and yet without getting out of 1st gear we were 2 up.

Everything about that game just stank of Steve Bruce and we’ve just drawn at home to the team bottom of the league.

He needs to be gone soon.

The whole second half was a fucking shambles even before the sending off
No,no,no,no....you are wrong.

Steve said the THE FIRST HOUR was some of the best football we have played this season.
The first 15 minutes of the second half was just us sitting back, in total control, ready to spring like a coiled snake.

Mind you, Steve has a tendency to being a lying, spinning, bullshiting twat, so you could be right.

I don’t think we touched the ball for the first 7 minutes of the 2nd half so Bruce can go and bollocks with that shit. That 2nd half tonight was one of the worst I’ve ever seen from a Villa team and I’m not exaggerating. It was total surrender to a piss poor Preston team and it was unforgivable.
Get the hell out of the Villa, Bruce.

I hope this is history repeating itself.  An abject display against Preston led to RDM getting the push.  Hopefully the same will happen after this latest disgrace.

The shameless fucker will not walk away. He's waiting for a pay off.

I just hope he’s sacked by tomorrow. He doesn’t deserve another match as Villa manager.

Nah, you can fuck right off with that, there's no way on earth he said that. He can't have done. No chance.

Did he?

Oh he did...but to be fair he was all over the place and was babbling on about all sorts....sounded to me like he knows he's a goner...or very nearly.

I don't get the nice guy thing either but anyway it's irrelevant whether he's Mother Teresa or the devil incarnate as a person.  What matters is he's stealing a massive living from our club, leaving it in a right bleeding mess and trying to cover it up with spades of bullshit.  That makes him a c*** in my book.
True.

Was strange that it was Abraham and not that bone idle clown Kodjia who made way first but it didn't matter a jot given our midfield downed tools. Preston pressed our defenders high up the park and we kicked possession back to them repeatedly.

Bruce said on Talkshite that 'he deserves more respect from the fans for getting Villa to the play off final last season'.  He needed to add 'where I also failed to get a tune out of the team and turned in a completely negative performance and deserved to lose'.  Some sensible fans on Talkshite for once. Other than some Leedz wanker on right now.
