I don't get the nice guy thing either but anyway it's irrelevant whether he's Mother Teresa or the devil incarnate as a person.  What matters is he's stealing a massive living from our club, leaving it in a right bleeding mess and trying to cover it up with spades of bullshit.  That makes him a c*** in my book.

This is a more interesting post-match interview imo Bruce post-match audio boom on WM

The circus in the stadium?  What does he mean by that?  Sounds to me from that interview that he knows he's fucked.

It was tame by Villa Park standards. Ask TSM1 or TSM2 or even Eric 8 wins in 20 years of coaching Black.

That was a perfect example of this clowns lack of game management. We go in 2 up after some half decent play against a very poor side. 2nd half thier manager mamesca tactical change in bringing on Johnson. We had no idea to combat it (insert Bannon / Woods / et al) and they end up dominating us for 10 mins whilst we retract further and further back until the pen. Just or not we go a man down and concede. He then makes one of the most bizarre changes I've ever seen. We clearly offer them the chance to come at us by banking 2 sets of 4 and then kept conceding possession by lumping it 40 yards up field. No idea whatsoever on game management.

Where is all his experience?

To the board   this will not get any better, there is no plan and he does not even know his best team or how they should play.

Put him out of our misery

I can agree with one thing with Bruce I'm disappointed too.

In some ways the fates conspired not to win tonight and after such a comfortable first half the second half proved disastrous.

The credit to the final flurry in equalising and nearly re winning the match .

I draw the line at insulting Bruce and hope he's okay as he has had  it very tough personally.
I think he's just not suited now for what we what to achieve  and has not the ideas to move forward. Haven't seen enough to convince now that he should have much longer .

Villa have continued the impressive record of scoring in every match the only team to do so in championship and I think that's a platform to build on attacking wise

Also I have only see.the foul and red card once and Bruce said he's seen it 5 times and suggest it's not the right decision

Correct or not the collapse by the players and the systems used just invited pressure.
Did I see Mcginn as some sort of left back in a. 5 player defence

Another issue was deposited two well taken goals the line up seemed to be a 4-5-1 with Abrahams. Up front by himself.

For me also I would have had Whelan on to hold midfield and still have players there to provide an attacking threat

I also saw the deabte for the pen which looked like Bolasie and tuanzabe were wanting to take it too and Hutton was there I guess acting as captain . Bolasie was the one hanging  around most after Whelan stepped up .

So first half and before sending off things were okay in part due to the weakest team in the league.
They are really poor as Preston could hold a lead for a few minutes despite playing against 10 men and desperately needing the points

Yes I said credit to the villa comeback but that probably due in part to opposition.

Really that was a victory and beat ourselves .again !

Now the free kick which was scored seemed to sneak in and Bunn was caught out but that could also be the wall position and not organised defence . The whole line up at back was all over the place and when tested it was only matter time to score a header.

Apparently Steve Bruce has a bizarre press conference going to be on talk sport shortly.
Probably found or heard elsewhere

The whole second half was a fucking shambles even before the sending off
No,no,no,no....you are wrong.

Steve said the THE FIRST HOUR was some of the best football we have played this season.
The first 15 minutes of the second half was just us sitting back, in total control, ready to spring like a coiled snake.

Mind you, Steve has a tendency to being a lying, spinning, bullshiting twat, so you could be right.

Some positive notes

It seems ages ago now but the way Mcginn harried and won the ball for Abrahams goal was the passion and great endeavour that this Mcginn has shown and so much appreciated.

Similarly the way rallied at end by all accounts was a major positive. it's hard as the disappoint is raw .
On talk sport now Bruce saying he's being hounded.

Tbh there was no melt down or outburst and it was disgrace full and misleading how talk sport presented that. Sorry !

Here's the nice guy in action, this sums him up. I've said it before that it's amazing how often he says he's not looking for excuses before giving an excuse. "I’m not looking for excuses, but when I’m fighting for my job, you need referees to stand up and do their job properly.”

Oh and Steve, if you could do your job properly we wouldn't be mid-table in division fecking two.

Haven’t felt this flat since Stoke at home about 10 years ago. Whelan was responsible for that too!

Up until the added time I think we got into the Preston half twice in the second half. Beyond belief.

Pretty sure the equaliser was our first attack of any note after the Hutton 'shot' more than half an hour earlier.

It was such an embarrassing half. Normally we're shit in the first half and step it up in the second. It's how Bruce has survived so long, fans remember more the second half. Tonight bit him on the arse.

Nah, you can fuck right off with that, there's no way on earth he said that. He can't have done. No chance.

Did he?
