I've gone right off him. Enjoy your retirement.
Me too, He’s just said how unfair we’ve been on him

This is a more interesting post-match interview imo Bruce post-match audio boom on WM
Yep. Here he blames the ref and is afronted by the fans.

I don't buy the nice bloke stuff either anymore. He's as big a tool as Mr Fickle was and it will be a joyous day when the lying scrote is no longer associated with this fine club.

I have no read any of this thread yet, I wanted to post my thoughts while they are fresh.
There are so many points to rant about, that I think I could do so all night.
I sincerely hope that people are not giving any semblance of sympathy or sense of injustice because Chester got sent off and therefore that was the factor that meant we did not win the game. That cannot be more wrong.

We laboured to a 2 goal lead in the first half, against possibly one of the worst teams I have seen at Villa Park.
Very little about the first half performance showed that we had a plan or real direction. We huffed and puffed and 2 moments of class got us into the lead.
And then the second half abberation.
For the first 12 minutes, before their penalty we barely got in their half.
The standard and quality of our football was a fecking disgrace.
Then, after the penalty I have never witness such a brainless, brain dead performance in my life.
When you play 10 v 11, you make if difficulty for the 11.
You have to run, you have to work and more than anything else, you keep the ball when you have it.
Whacking the fucker at every opportunity, like we did, just invites presssure....time after time after time.
Not only are they a thick bunch of c***s on the pitch, but to me, it demonstrates a complete lack of professionalism and leadership.
Fair play to Preston, they smelled blood and went for it.
I am sure the why did Whelan question has been done to death , but I think that goes back to my previous point about leadership.

It pains me to say it, but I hope Bolasie has not given Bruce stay of execution with that goal, because, if he has, frankly I wish he hadn’t scored it.

andyh thank you saving me the trouble of typing. Agree 100%. It was the 10 mins before the pen and then totally totally pathetic performance post that did it. Complete shambles.

Up until the added time I think we got into the Preston half twice in the second half. Beyond belief.

Honestly, I can't even be bothered to write negative post-match thoughts anymore. I'm bored by it.

With that said, Fulham were 7th in the table at the break last year. They played this game called football and earned their spoils.

Post-match interview https://www.facebook.com/avfcofficial/videos/744063742598305/

I can’t believe I’m going to say this as I’ve wanted him gone for ages, but I actually felt sorry for him after watching this. Decent bloke, just totally out of his depth these days, hope they put him out of his misery tomorrow for all our sakes.

I agree with this. Personally I wish him well. I like the guy and think that the loss of his parents has affected him very badly. Look at footage from when he joined to now and he looks a man destroyed.
Its only football and I wish for his and our sakes that he is put out of his suffering soon.

I don't think he's a decent bloke, I think he's a lying chancer, and I hope his career goes into a tailspin after this.  He's a rubbish manager, and he's set this club back years.  Bollocks to him, and the horse he rode in on.

Absolutely spot on Risso. I've never really liked him, although I've tried to as he's the manager of our club. I've absolutely always hated his brand of football. Fucking dreadful.

For me,(of course nobody likes to be criticised, but this is life)Bruce cannot stand being questioned, no matter how shit he's been. This is why I want him out more than anything else. He seems adverse to any sort of change, or taking on board the opinion or insight of others. He's surrounded by yes men, it seems. Calderwood and Clemence. Average players, average coaches. Get out.

Fuck off Bruce. You will not be remembered fondly.

The circus in the stadium?  What does he mean by that?  Sounds to me from that interview that he knows he's fucked.

Pretty sure the equaliser was our first attack of any note after the Hutton 'shot' more than half an hour earlier.

Fuck me. Glenn fucking Whelan.

That c*** has to go.

Him, Bruce or both?

I'll go with both.
Both. He should have wacked that as hard as he could right down the centre. Of course he shouldn’t have taken it on in the first place.
