I have no read any of this thread yet, I wanted to post my thoughts while they are fresh.
There are so many points to rant about, that I think I could do so all night.
I sincerely hope that people are not giving any semblance of sympathy or sense of injustice because Chester got sent off and therefore that was the factor that meant we did not win the game. That cannot be more wrong.

We laboured to a 2 goal lead in the first half, against possibly one of the worst teams I have seen at Villa Park.
Very little about the first half performance showed that we had a plan or real direction. We huffed and puffed and 2 moments of class got us into the lead.
And then the second half abberation.
For the first 12 minutes, before their penalty we barely got in their half.
The standard and quality of our football was a fecking disgrace.
Then, after the penalty I have never witness such a brainless, brain dead performance in my life.
When you play 10 v 11, you make if difficulty for the 11.
You have to run, you have to work and more than anything else, you keep the ball when you have it.
Whacking the fucker at every opportunity, like we did, just invites presssure....time after time after time.
Not only are they a thick bunch of c***s on the pitch, but to me, it demonstrates a complete lack of professionalism and leadership.
Fair play to Preston, they smelled blood and went for it.
I am sure the why did Whelan question has been done to death , but I think that goes back to my previous point about leadership.

It pains me to say it, but I hope Bolasie has not given Bruce stay of execution with that goal, because, if he has, frankly I wish he hadn’t scored it.

Well that was a surreal last half hour.

Guess this is what it's like to come off a really good/bad acid trip!

We'd have won that 3-0 if the red hadn't occured. I was actually shocked Chester went off, I thought it was supposed to be a yellow now for last man foul in the box?

Anyway things changed and I couldn't understand SB taking off Abraham straight away. I guess he kept Grealish on as he's the best in our team for possession but really a luxury midfielder is the obvious sub off when you go down to 10.

Anyway PNE had the freedom of VP from then on and 2-2 was only a matter of time. For all the stick he's had this season, that last half hour would've actually suited Jedinak. We couldn't win a header in our box to save our lives and it eventually cost us with Moult scoring.

Jedinak would've also taken the penalty...speaking of which I think we can replace Barry with Bolaise now in the long running why didn't he take the penalty gag. Madness Whelan took it.

That was the last time SB manages us at VP I'd imagine.

Post-match interview https://www.facebook.com/avfcofficial/videos/744063742598305/

I can’t believe I’m going to say this as I’ve wanted him gone for ages, but I actually felt sorry for him after watching this. Decent bloke, just totally out of his depth these days, hope they put him out of his misery tomorrow for all our sakes.

fuck him. He's not a decent bloke at all. He's played you like a kipper there Fred.
You’re probably right TV , I’m just a big old softie.  Bruce out !

Sounds like the most batshit crazy game down the Villa since 4-4 with Leicester nearly 25 years ago.

Not really. A trip is often unpredictable.

I agree with this. Personally I wish him well. I like the guy and think that the loss of his parents has affected him very badly. Look at footage from when he joined to now and he looks a man destroyed.
Its only football and I wish for his and our sakes that he is put out of his suffering soon.

I don't think he's a decent bloke, I think he's a lying chancer, and I hope his career goes into a tailspin after this.  He's a rubbish manager, and he's set this club back years.  Bollocks to him, and the horse he rode in on.

Thinking he's doing a bad job and liking the bloke are not mutually exclusive. I want a change in direction as much as any fan but it's not like he's ranting and raving. He seems like a nice chap who is disappointed that the best job he'll ever get is going to be taken away from him.

Grealish is starting to do my head in....turning into a luxury item...bit like that Beckham C**t.
He can't defend and simply runs round in circle's in our own half with them barbie doll shin pads tied to his fucking ankles.....Grow Up Jack before it's all over.

As for Bruce...Same Shit every week......Good Bye and Good Riddance.
