Someone, somehow, needs to explain to me why, when Bolasie, Grealish, McGinn, and Bjarnasson are on pitch we select Glenn fucking Whelan to take a 94th minute penalty

Houriane aint got a bad shot

Wasn’t on pitch

This league is so fucking average that any manager at with a semblance of a club, some tactical awareness and creativity will get us playing well and climbing the table. Not this useless fucker. What a colossal waste of space he is.

That second half was nothing but Chaos.

The opening of it, not even competing.
Then the sending off, followed by total capitulation.
There was no shape, no thinking, no heart, no rallying, no nous shown by anyone. It was completely leaderless as we were ran over by the BOTTOM team of the SECOND DIVISION.
Somehow we end up scrambling an equaliser.
Then a defensive midfielder who has only been on the pitch 10 minutes is in charge of taking the decisive penalty.
That was just chaos, no direction coming from anywhere, no captain, no manager, just 10 blokes on a pitch all over the fucking shop.

It's a measure of how bad Preston are that they could have lost that. Probably the single worst 45 minutes I can remember seeing baring in mind who it was against.

BRUCE OUT.

If the bastards still in charge for the next home game I think there needs to be co-ordinated protests involving cabbages.

I'd go with early season sprouts, part the same family, can be thrown further and harder on impact.

If he goes now, we at least might make the playoffs with a good manager. If this is allowed to go on the season is fucked and we will get ransacked in the transfer aftermath..

Please sack him before he gives a contract to James Collins - it will turn my stomach to see him play for Villa again.

And when he is sacked, don't put any of his 'assistants' in temporary charge. Let Mark Delaney have a go - though tell him it is a free hit.

Ironically, if tonight's performance and result ends up with the departure of Mr Bruce, then Agent Whelan could become a cult hero.

Funny old world.

Our penalty looks like it was given for Johnson fetching a cogwinder across Bjarni's mush.  In which case why no red card for violent conduct?

That second half was disgraceful and shambolic. I blame the players aswell but what the feck does he say to them at half time?

Preston were the worst team at VP for ages in the first half, we should have come out after half time and steamrollered them and scored 4 or 5. Instead we let them back into it.

Bruce OUT

It should be ''left by mutual consent'' before the night is over.

Fuck that, he doesn't deserve the chance.

It should be "Steve Bruce just wasn't performing at the level required for this great club, so he has been relieved of his duties. '
