Bunn is appalling mind, will always remember him tangled up in the net against someone, possibly, Southampton away, whilst the opposition scored and we got a drubbing under Eric Cack.

I remember this! Worst goal I’ve ever seen Villa concede. It was in a 2-1 away defeat at Stoke in the Armageddon season. There was a cross which Arnautovic headed straight in the air and then chested into the net. For some inexplicable reason, Lescott just stood there and didn’t jump for the ball. I’ve never quite figured out why. Then, to make things worse, Bunn actually jumped backwards into the net instead of towards the ball, and as you say ended up in a tangle. We’d lost 6-0 to Liverpool the previous week but this actually annoyed me more even though the score was only 2-1. It was such a shit goal it looked like a betting fix. Not saying it was, but just looked that way.

I remember his first game against Forest pre season.  The ref was still blowing his whistle for the start of the game as the ball whistled past Bunn into the net.

The Sky commentator seems to have been given a script by Bruce. Taking about his promotion record and that some fans seem to want him out.

Fucking hell. Mark Bunn. Worst keeper I have ever seen. Surely the Morriera should have been given a shot for a few games to at least see if he can do it. If not, Sarkic surely?

It's some indictment of our management of such a crucial position over the summer. Letting Steer go, bringing in two keepers both seem useless, back to Bunn 😒
