Jim Furyk is going to get a lot of criticism and rightly so.

Watson, and especially Mickleson being picked to play foursomes is perhaps the most unfathomable decision a ryder cup captain had ever taken.

In the presser Furyk was asked about it and said he'd happily do the same thing again.  Bet he doesn't though.

Poor from the crowd again this morning. Ewan Murray "The Americans are our guests and we don't treat guests like that"

All the momentum is with Europe but it can change quickly. I fancy 9-7 to the home side by 5pm.

Foursomes pairings are out.  So no Mickelson at all today.  Hardly surprising - he was utter mince yesterday.

Easy in the end. Mad to think that Tiger Woods has been in about fifty Ryder Cups but he is still only one ahead of me in the number of times he's been on the winning team.

Just then at 10 and half nine and half it was looking worryingly close but.....

Superb birdie putt by Noren to finish the match. Molinari 5/5 top player, Olesen performance of the day beating Spieth 5 and 4, but overall brilliant team performance with everyone contributing to the final points total.

Once I work out how to get the ball past the little windmill, there will be no stopping me.

It should come as no surprise that he's not much of a team player.
