I quite like the stripped back coverage from the red button.  With no replays it seems more like you're at the game, and less likely to be distracted.  Plus, the commentator doesn't constantly spout the sort of shit you tend to get with a co-commentator alongside.

It's how the Beeb do their coverage of the FA Cup qualifiers and I quite like it.

Typical Villa performance so far. We score a goal then completely slow the game right down to walking pace with no energy or desire to finish the opposition off.

Well well well....

An attacking formation with 2 strikers and support from midfield creates chances and goals...WHO KNEW!!!

Unfortunately it keeps the idiot in a job for another week although this clearly isnt his design (not enought defensive midfielders) so wheres it come from,. the players, Agnew?

1-0 at half time. Playing OK without really looking like we've got a real cutting edge.

Oh for someone that could coach these attacking players into something more than occasional moments of quality.

Beginning to drop deeper though. I'm convinced that these are Bruce's tactics when we go one in front...

We seem ok at the back but Grealish not in the game much.

Played ok at times but watching us with the talent we have you can see the Bruce drag factor holding us back.

It's 'only' Rotherham...

This could be Rotherham or anywhere
Liverpool or Rome.

Some people are easily pleased. Irritating loop in the break. Basic SD quality and crap camera position.....

Take us farther, Abraham.

To the Heights of Abraham

Great to see Abraham Lincoln up with Kodja for the goal.

1-0 up at ht. Time to batten down the hatches and hang on for the win/draw/defeat.

Or some people don't need HD etc and don't mind watching basic coverage.
