Some serious spotting here. Cheers!

The following was our excuse for getting out-signed by M-I-L Apologies as these have appeared before...and don't tell the wife (she hated the windswept look)

Yup. It was the only one I wasn't sure of.

Part two - 1967

I was 14 and took myself off to VP one weekday at half term to catch them as they came out of training. Waited ages but in the end they all signed, Sadly we'd sold my hero Tony Hateley by that time, but I was sensible enough to identify most of them...catching a team in a downward trajectory.

Charlie Aitken

Dave Rudge, Johnny MacLeod, Dave Pountney, Slogger, ?Robert Goodwin? Mike Tindall, Wilson Briggs, Graham Parker, Tony Scott, John Gavan (reserve goalie)

Fred Turnbull, Colin Withers, Willie Hamilton, ?David Someone?

John Inglis, Dave Roberts, Lionel Martin, Bobby Park, Mick Wright, Peter McParland (must have been a coach then)

Peter Broadbent, Dick Stephens (another young goalie)

John Inglis (again!), Lew Chatterley, Barry Stobart

John Hemmings, Johnny Chambers, Keith Bradley, Alan Deakin, ?Pete someone? (looking at the Villa player database, possibly Peter Jones

?Lionel someone?, Jackie Sewell

That's about it, though I did get my big colour Ty-phoo team picture signed  by the above (have posted before). Where were Willie Anderson and John Woodward? Presumably the latter was crocked.

Lionel would, I presume, be Lionel Martin?

You’re right, looks like I bagged him twice, like John Inglis.

76-77 apart from keeper were the best team villa team ever with Rimmer and taking away injuries and postponements we would have won the treble
