He trolls out the same lines. It’s dull like the football. He’ll eventually go with a big payoff and all his Talksport buddies will be bemoaning his departure coming out with “he’s a great football man and he’ll get another job soon...” blah blah
Thing is it’s not just him is it? He’s got Agnew, Calderwood, Clemence and Walsh all as part of his management circle. Surely from all of them they can see the lack of a centre half and cover is so evident.

Right I’m opening a can now. Might be the first of many!

What on earth do they actually do, except pick up their fat pay packets?

It is like a bloody holiday camp down there!

I have never seen so many police in and around a stadium, when there was trouble two of them just stood and filmed it, leaving the stewards to struggle to sort it.

Only McGinn and the new winger are excused today, even Grealish pissed me off today with his play acting, every other player was fucking abysmal, it could have been even worse than 4-1. The Sheffield United support started the “sacked in the morning” chant and the Villa support joined in, I kept getting flashbacks to the 3-0 FA Cup defeat to Oldham, grim.

I remember going there once in the BFR days and they were banging on our car a bit, but nothing too nasty. I have just seen the goals. I don't know why everyone is moaning so much, I thought it was a lovely move for our goal ;). I thought Nyland could and should have done better for their second and third goals.

Disastrous keeping:

1 - Didn't come for the cross.
2 - Beaten by a shot frpm 30 yards.
3 - Pushed the ball into his own net.
4 - Risky throw out returned with interest.

Nyland is old enough to have learned his trade by now.

Mind you so is Little Orphan Annie.
Now this is just bs

Seems pretty accurate to me.

I mentioned that somewhere here, wondered what info they had that had led to them committing that many plod. Only ever seen more at Blues and last seasons away at Wolves.

It was pretty terrible and they should have had more than four. It felt similar to the Preston game under RDM and we know what happened after that. I don't think a change will be long in coming.

Bruce should have gone after 6 games last season. After 6 games this season he's still with us and certainly no further forwards. He needs to go, tonight, tomorrow asap! There are things to be positive about: new owners who seem to know how to run successful businesses; a new experienced ceo; we managed to keep both chester and grealish and told a sky 6 club to f-ck off; we've brought in some decent loans/signings, that I believe Bruce had little say in. To complete this feeling of positivity we now need a new manager, to give the place a fresh impetus. The new owners need to act immediately otherwise there will be plenty more humiliations around the corner just like the Sheffield debacle today.Bruce Out!

It needs to happen, so we don’t waste this season.

I didn't think too much of it at the time because we got there just before the game but yes, there were bloody loads of them.

If Bruce stays, we'll be lucky to avoid relegation! He's totally fucked up the defence. The Elphick sale was utter stupidity with no replacement lined up. Time for change, NOW!

Is it all that surprising when our own fans are assaulting each other in the away end? Not the first time this has happened in the last year, either. Shameful

It's not surprising that we are all over the place defensively if they are not playing in their proper positions.  We still look really disorganised as a unit and are playing individually instead of as a team.  Terrible defending for all of their goals, although a couple were lovely finishes, they should not have been given that much space.  We look lethargic and lazy and I include Bruce in that with his comments.  It's like he doesn't really want to be here and would be glad to pick up his compo for being ditched.  Breath fresh life into this squad quickly and we can still fight for promotion but the owners and Purslow need to act quickly by throwing him out, or throwing their weight behind him.  There are so many players at Villa that I really don't rate but I do think that another Manager might get a tune out of them.

If we bin Bruce and have someone lined up then the new manager gets the international break to take a look at everyone and formulate something resembling a plan rather than toss a load of loan signings and players out of position on to the pitch like a fucking voodoo shaman reading animal bones and hope for the best. Which is pretty much all ''I don't believe in tactics'' does.

Whoever takes over would be getting a very good squad of players.  Misfiring, but very good.
