Yep, my patience has very quickly run out in the last couple of weeks and for the first time since he arrived I wouldn't even be prepared to say 'give him 2 or 3 more matches' or whatever, I would just fire now. We've been backwards and forwards with this bollocks for well over 12 months and at best you'd say we falling just short. We will continue to do so with him in charge and it's not good enough.

Shit football is tolerated if you get the right results. We're not. His use of Jedinak and the defence in general will sink him.

I just cannot fathom the absence of effort. They really did run us off the park.

Bullied completely, they were stronger in the tackle, closed us down and did generally a lot of hard work off the ball. Nothing spectacular, just fundamental stuff.

We on the other hand were utterly lethargic, weak as well, devoid of ideas and a plan organisation.

It really was utterly embarrassing.

I feel for you Ads - and the many others who were subjected to that debacle today.

As a matter of interest, would you keep Bruce?

Bruce should have gone months ago.  We only have ourselves to blame.
Spot on Brian - straight after the Wembley debacle - now we 're stuck with an inept defence until January - no chance of automatic promotion

He should have gone in May 2017. The writing was on the wall in big neon lights back then. Everything since has been highly predictable, much like today.

It’s ironic. His job was saved by a financial disaster much of it caused by him failing in the job he was hired to do. And handsomely rewarded might I add.

Well on the bright side it was a lovely sunny day

On the downside, they were miles above us in every department, every player was more aggressive than his Villa counterpart. They won every tackle and then dominated possession once they had it. The score line flattered us

The keeper is a clown, axel isn’t anywhere near aggressive or decisive enough to play at all never mind at centre half. No one gets any credit at all

The atmosphere among the fans was awful, seemed a few were just wanting a row. I think York’s Old Bill were expecting WW3, there seemed hundreds of them

A day to forget

Having said that, Bruce won a MOTM award last year and I was roundly chastised at the time for criticising him, saying that it meant nothing, and that we'd see in the months to come whether he deserved any plaudits or not. Here we are.
I think it's safe to say that you were right.

I'd rather have time to think before answering that. The sting and embarrassment of the defeat is too raw and I'm also roasting having parked at the top of sodding hill.

I wonder if the team are forcing him out. Rightly so.

After hanging the team out to dry against Burton and then his treatment of Adomah, I wouldn't be surprised

Chap in front opined that. It's kind of difficult to argue as it was a Garde or Sherwood level shit show today.

Entirely predictable.

The line up was wrong (players played out of position, too much faith in players that just are not performing), the tactics were wrong, there was no plan B at all, and no doubt the excuses will be predictable too. I remember thinking this about Sherwood - no accountability at all and the place stinks. The players don't seem interested, they don't seem to care, and make no bones about it, we really are in a lot of trouble.

Promotion - no chance in hell.

Relegation in fact seems more ominous right now.

Its time for our new owners and their new highly paid CEO to show that they care.
